Dr. Brian Wadman, O.D.

Dr. Wadman is a graduate of Deerfield Academy and the College of Wooster in Ohio. He received his optometric education at The New England College of Optometry in Boston, getting his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1985. Following his graduation, Dr. Wadman had three years of intense training in eye examinations, contact lens fitting, and the detection of ocular diseases while associated with an Ophthalmology practice in Plymouth, MA.

Dr. Wadman is fully licensed to practice optometry in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

He is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Optometry, the American Optometric Association and the Contact Lens Section of the AOA as well as a candidate to the American Academy of Optometry.

Dr. Wadman has been in private practice since 1985.


Dr. Michael Feinberg, O.D.

Dr. Michael Feinberg attended St. John's College in Annapolis, MD, The New School for Social Research in New York City, and is a graduate of New York University in New York City. He received his optometry education at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, receiving his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1977.

Dr. Feinberg is fully licensed to practice optometry in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

In addition to his private practice, Dr. Feinberg works as a staff optometrist for Health Drive Medical and Dental Services, providing geriatric eye and vision care to residents of over twenty nursing homes in Western Massachusetts.



Dr. John P. Frangie, M.D.
Consulting Ophthalmologist

Dr. Frangie is a board certified ophthalmologist specializing in Corneal and Refractive Surgery. He received his medical degree from the University of Kansas and served his ophthalmology residency at the Boston University School of Medicine. Following residency training, Dr. Frangie performed a fellowship in Corneal and Refractive Surgery at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, where he participated in research with the Excimer laser and laser vision correction.

Following completion of his Corneal and Keratorefractive Surgery Fellowship, Dr. Frangie returned to the Boston University School of Medicine as Director of the Cornea and Refractive Surgery Services. While at B.U, Dr. Frangie trained resident and fellow surgeons, in addition to publishing numerous articles and chapters on corneal disease and surgery.

Dr. Frangie is a consulting Ophthalmologist and not a member of the Eyecare Specialties staff.


  

  

  

Dr. Nathalie C. Rioux, M.D.
Consulting Ophthalmologist

Nathalie C. Rioux, M.D. is a native of Montreal, Canada.  She received a B.S. in Microbiology from McGill University, Montreal and her M.D. from the University of Montreal School of Medicine in 1991.

Dr. Rioux completed her internship and residency at the University of Montreal Affiliated Hospitals in Montreal.  She completed her Fellowship in Glaucoma in 1997 at the same institution, graduating Magna Cum Laude.

Dr. Rioux is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (Canada) and a Diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology.  Dr. Rioux belongs to numerous professional organizations including the American Acadamy of Ophthalmology, Medical Council of Canada, Quebec Medical Association, Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, and the New England Glaucoma Society.

Dr. Rioux was the Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Missouri at Kansas City prior to moving to Western Massachusetts in 1997.  She was the Glaucoma Specialist at the Greenfield Eye Center until November of 2004 when she became partners with John P. Frangie, M.D. of Pioneer Valley Ophthalmic Consultants, making them the only practice in Western Massachusetts with a Fellowship trained glaucoma and corneal specialist.

Dr. Rioux is fluent in French, Spanish, and English.

Dr. Rioux is a consulting Ophthalmologist and not a member of the Eyecare Specialties staff.
